High Hopes.... New Monthly Dare and Challenge Winners

Hello friends! Karla here to announce the July Winners below and the new theme for August's Dare - High Hopes! ANYTHING GOES as you unleash your creative talents for this challenge. This year has been a year of musical inspiration for our challenges, taken from songs that are some of Kim's favourites. The song High Hopes by Panic! At the Disco goes out to everyone who might feel alone or that life is feeding them opposition. Kim says "Choose what you need and just go for IT! Know that you have what it takes to push up and come out on top." Click below to listen to this upbeat song, and share your project with us below for a chance to win!

This month I'm choosing to share a fun summery page created with Carta Bella En Vogue papers and Cricut diecuts customized with Emerald Creek Embossing Powders. It is so easy to turn any diecut into a beautiful piece of art just by sprinkling a little powder and watching the magic happen!

I used Molten Dimension Aqua Splash and Oh Canada powders to transform the flower diecuts and added some pretty sequins and gems to the centers for even more bling.

The Magical Mysteries Midnight Magic powder melted to a gorgeous blue sheen with dark flecks on the sunglasses, and my favourite, the Hammered Metal powder, looks super cool on the Eiffel Tower. I even added a little Oh Canada to the flag!

I absolutely adore how the Smile diecut title turned out with the Molten Dimension Black Magic added to it! This is a thick black powder and it creates lovely dimension and shine. The Molten Dimension Glistening Glass gave the fussy cut purse image the look of an epoxy sticker!

And I just had to create two cards using the supplies left over from the layout! The vintage look of this paper is so fantastic. I used the Molten Dimension Glistening Glass again to coat the purses cut from patterned paper and layered them on the bottom of the card for a fun dimensional look.

I had so much fun creating these projects with the awesome Emerald Creek Powders! I hope I've given you some ideas on how to use your own supplies. We can't wait to see what you share with us this month - remember Anything Goes!! Link up below or use the hashtag #ecaugust2019 on social media to be entered to win a fab prize pack.
