For our first Public Monthly Dare we want to see if you can re-think one main product to create 3 looks.
My first class I ever taught was an "open choice", so I picked this idea of how to get more from a single item. I was tired of things collecting dust.
So I chose a Tim Holtz Woodgrain Stencil with texture paste.
My idea was simple: create a Masculine, a feminine and a youthful card. I pulled out my matte texture paste from Ranger Ink & textured up 2 sheets of paper with 3 stencils each and let them dry for 1/2 an hour. Then I cut them in to individual strips.
Using Enhanced Ivory Pearl Embossing Powder, The Rose stamp & Vertical Word Sentiments I created this Feminine Card
Using Black Soot, Gathered Twigs and Walnut Wash, The V.I.B stamp & Twine made the perfect Masculine Card for Father's Day
Using Sizzix #2 Square Flip-its Die, Ripe Permisson, Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and a light blend of mowed Lawn Mini inks I blended the colours over the Woodgrain. Then I drew a bit of Crystal Effects over some of the grain and dusted it with Iridescent Embossing powder. (Do not heat it, just let it dry to the crystal effects glue).
The Princess Fairalee Stamp and an Emerald Creek Dragon Fly Brad finished this card off for a perfect little girls card.
